COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is an intensive exploration of the creative processes involved in Theater development. It deals with historical problems in theatrical presentations, promotions, management and dramatic interpretation.
GOALS
This is a required course for the MA degree program in Theater Arts. The students
explore their creativity by creating a dramatic piece for presentation, showing all the necessary elements of theater development.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon course completion, students will be able to:

Prepare a dramatic piece. (one Act play, Recital, Concert)

Cast and rehearse the piece.

Promote and manage the Productions.

Critique the development of the Production.
COURSE PREREQUISITE: A bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement for admission to this course of study.
COURSE DELIVERY: This course shall be delivered completely through online interaction via the Internet or other acceptable distance learning medium(s). Due to this being a non-traditional program, traditional classroom residency is not required. Therefore, you are expected to independently read and analyze the subject matter with me performing the roles of an advisor and mentor.
