COURSE
DESCRIPTION
This course is an overview of all areas of Theater Arts. Its main purpose is to provide analyses and interpretations of different models of Acting, directing, designing, managing and promoting.
GOALS
This is a required course for the BA degree program in Theater Arts. The students explore and compare various models of Theatrical presentations. They learn to use creativity in developing the Cast, the production processes, the production team, analyze the script and present a successful show.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon course completion, students will be able to:
Analyze and interpret the script.
Cast the play and prepare to rehearsal process.
Choose location and prepare the production team.
Design the play and develop the marketing plan
COURSE PREREQUISITE: A bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement for admission to this course of study.
COURSE DELIVERY: This course shall be delivered completely through online interaction via the Internet or other acceptable distance learning medium(s). Due to this being a non-traditional program, traditional classroom residency is not required. Therefore, you are expected to independently read and analyze the subject matter with me performing the roles of an advisor and mentor.
