COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course presents an exciting fount of information for students who intend to develop a Theater Production Company and produce Theatrical shows.

GOALS

This is a required course for the BA degree program in Theater Arts. The students receive practical guidance and valuable, sincere advice regarding the development of professional Theater. They learn about performance space, business plans, fund-raising, managing and producing.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon course completion, students will be able to:

Structure the Theater organization.

Establish the business department and define its operations.

Coordinate the operation of the entire Theater organizations.

Develop operational budget

COURSE PREREQUISITE: A bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement for admission to this course of study. 

COURSE DELIVERY: This course shall be delivered completely through online interaction via the Internet or other acceptable distance learning medium(s). Due to this being a non-traditional program, traditional classroom residency is not required. Therefore, you are expected to independently read and analyze the subject matter with me performing the roles of an advisor and mentor.
