COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course provides the practical experience necessary to integrate the theories of Theater production techniques with the realities of live Theater.
GOALS
This is a required course for the BA degree program in Theater Arts. The students learn, by participating in live Theater productions, to develop personality for the Theater, and to understand the concepts that build the foundations.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon course completion, students will be able to:
Develop performance processes.
Understand the operations of the creative staff.
Define the technical processes of Theater production.
Understand the ‘Business Management’ elements of Theater production
COURSE PREREQUISITE: A bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement for admission to this course of study.
COURSE DELIVERY: This course shall be delivered completely through online interaction via the Internet or other acceptable distance learning medium(s). Due to this being a non-traditional program, traditional classroom residency is not required. Therefore, you are expected to independently read and analyze the subject matter with me performing the roles of an advisor and mentor.
