COURSE DESCRIPTION
PSY 503 explores the realm of Psychopathology, including internationally accepted definitions of dysfunctional behavior.

COURSE GOALS
The student will understand various diagnostic approaches.

The student will understand various therapeutic models

COURSE EXPECTATIONS AND EVALUATION
Write a brief plain-language summary of each section assigned by professor.

PROJECT
Write a 12-15 page research paper making a rational case for:

· Labeling the maladjusted behavior of individuals in treatment

· Not labeling the maladjusted behavior of individuals in treatment

· Compare and contrast

COURSE PREREQUISITE: A bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement for admission to this course of study. 

COURSE DELIVERY: This course shall be delivered completely through online interaction via the Internet or other acceptable distance learning medium(s). Due to this being a non-traditional program, traditional classroom residency is not required. Therefore, you are expected to independently read and analyze the subject matter with me performing the roles of an advisor and mentor.
