COURSE DESCRIPTION
PSY 444 explores human
sensation and perception. Introduction
to research concerning how we perceive
the external world through our senses
of:
-
vision
-
audition
-
smell
-
taste
-
touch
And why we experience the
world in the way we do, and why our
neighbor may experience the world in a
very different way.
COURSE EXPECTATIONS
AND EVALUATION
The student will write a summary/review
of each assigned text chapter.
PROJECT
The
Student will write a 15-20 paper
exploring differences between and among
humans in perception through vision,
hearing, and touch. Cite research
studies, text materials, and
professional writings.
COURSE PREREQUISITE: A bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement for admission to this course of study.
COURSE DELIVERY: This course shall be delivered completely through online interaction via the Internet or other acceptable distance learning medium(s). Due to this being a non-traditional program, traditional classroom residency is not required. Therefore, you are expected to independently read and analyze the subject matter with me performing the roles of an advisor and mentor.
