COURSE DESCRIPTION
PSY
435 explores the philosophy,
methodology, and analysis of the
experimental method. Students will study
problems in psychological research and
the procedures in analyzing and
resolving psychological questions.
COURSE GOALS

COURSE EXPECTATIONS
AND EVALUATION
Read and
study each chapter, make notes to
summarize each chapter and submit them
to your university advisor.
PROJECT
Write a comparative paper, approximately
20 pages, comparing and contrasting
experimental methods, various methods of
sampling, and validity issues in
experimental research. The topic and
type of research will be approved by the
instructor prior to beginning the
proposal.
COURSE PREREQUISITE: A bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement for admission to this course of study.
COURSE DELIVERY: This course shall be delivered completely through online interaction via the Internet or other acceptable distance learning medium(s). Due to this being a non-traditional program, traditional classroom residency is not required. Therefore, you are expected to independently read and analyze the subject matter with me performing the roles of an advisor and mentor.
