COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Long the central focus of the study of economics, what governs and promotes economic growth and rising standard of living? The rich history of economic growth models will be studied and the interactions of resource factor growth, strategic planning and/or free market developments, entrepreneurship and technological and organizational innovations. Country-specific comparison and analysis will be conducted as well as critical study of the works of Lester Thurow, Michael Porter, L. Summers, Paul Krugman and many other authors/economists who provide the best contemporary insight to the classical economic question: What are the sources of economic growth?

COURSE PREREQUISITE: A bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement for admission to this course of study. 

COURSE DELIVERY: This course shall be delivered completely through online interaction via the Internet or other acceptable distance learning medium(s). Due to this being a non-traditional program, traditional classroom residency is not required. Therefore, you are expected to independently read and analyze the subject matter with me performing the roles of an advisor and mentor.
